Sakura, 2022 edition

Spring is approaching, and with it, the season of sakura and hanami!

The meaning of the sakura

The symbolism of the cherry blossom goes beyond its beauty. It blooms and fades in a few days and therefore represents the ephemeral nature of life, its fragility, but also the desire to savor every moment of life.

We gaze upon them with emotion because the celebration of spring also symbolizes renewal. The sakura is also a symbol of the samurai's qualities, namely honesty, courage, loyalty, and purity.
