The Tokyu Kabukicho Tower

In recent years, the Japanese capital has undergone numerous transformations. This article focuses on Japan's tallest hotel and entertainment tower: the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, the new jewel of the Shinjuku district.

It's official! The Tokyu Kabukicho Tower (東急歌舞伎町タワー) will open its doors in April 2023. And it's safe to say the project looks incredibly appealing. Indeed, the 48 floors (plus 4 basement levels) of this 225-meter tower promise a wide variety of services. The project aims to become a must-see on the list of attractions in the Japanese capital, for both Japanese and foreign visitors.

Let's see what this new, epic project has to offer!

B1-B4 – Concert space: ZEPP Shinjuku

For concertgoers, a brand-new venue with a capacity of up to 1,500 people is set to open. It has been specially designed to bring the audience closer to the artists and features state-of-the-art equipment. The program includes concerts by Japanese and international artists.

1F-5F – Food and Entertainment

We don't know all the details yet, but we can already tell you that…

The second floor will be dedicated to food, with (at least) a dozen stalls and restaurants offering regional Japanese specialties. Several facilities designed to host shows (a stage, a DJ booth, lighting effects, etc.) should also contribute to creating a festive atmosphere.

On the third floor, there will be a Bandai Namco game center, where you can try to win many goodies featuring your favorite manga.

The fourth floor, however, remains somewhat mysterious. It will showcase next-generation attractions.

The fifth floor will house a wellness center with a gym, sauna and outdoor pool.

6F-8F – Theatre

The Milano-Za theatre will have a capacity of approximately 900 seats.

Its highly flexible equipment will allow it to accommodate a wide range of productions: plays, film screenings or even concerts.

9F-10F – Cinema

The 109 cinemas, already at the forefront of the seventh art in the archipelago, are offering a brand new brand simply named 109 Premium Cinemas. The brand promises an experience that will revolutionize your perception of movie theaters. For an even more immersive cinematic experience, one of the theaters will offer ScreenX, a multi-projection visual system.,
