Food festivals during Golden Week 2022

The famous Golden Week will take place from April 29th to May 8th. Synonymous with holidays for most Japanese, it's the perfect opportunity to relax, travel, enjoy time with family, and also discover the events and festivals specially organized during this period. Here's an overview of the food festivals showcasing Asian flavors!

Tokyo Tower Taiwan Festival (from April 2nd to May 8th)

The Tokyo Tower Taiwan Festival offers authentic Taiwanese "night food markets." You can sample typical dishes in a dining area that immerses you in the local Taiwanese atmosphere. It's the perfect opportunity to (re)discover the culinary culture of this island neighboring Japan!

Cambodia Festival (May 3 and 4)

The sixth edition of the Cambodia Festival takes place in Yoyogi Park – just a stone's throw from your favorite school! This celebration of Cambodian culture consists of traditional dance performances, as well as stalls offering many local dishes, drinks and traditional crafts.

Korean Sweet Fes (April 29 to May 8)

The DiverCity Tokyo Plaza shopping center in Odaiba is hosting a Korean dessert festival during Golden Week. The menu features traditional and modern sweets: pan-fried hotteok pancakes, waffles, fruit-filled brioche sandwiches, and fruit parfaits. Yum!

Craft Gyoza Fes (from April 29 to May 8)

Head to Komazawa Olympic Park for a full day of sampling the best gyoza in Japan! No fewer than 20 stalls offering these delicious dumplings, prepared in styles from all corners of the country, await you. Catch them all!
